I called to get a mold inspection because a neighbor advised me that the prior owners suspected mold. I immediately called MasterTech to schedule an inspection only to find out MasterTech had previously done an inspection on this home less than a month before I purchased it. Instead of just scheduling the appointment and taking my money, Wendell advised me that a mold inspection had just been completed on the home and no mold was suspected. He shared the results of the report and advised if I should suspect anything to contact them in the future. I was very pleased with the transparency and good business practice. Thank you Wendell! Deion was absolutely fantastic to work with. He went far and above the average to help me determine the right action for the mold remediation in the crawl space. Not only did they do a topnotch job and he also helped me to determine the right duct cleaners for my smelly duct work. These guys just left my house. I have nothing but the most wonderful testimony to give of their company. I’ll try to keep it short and to the point (if I can).

-Extremely honest: they could have charged us for coming out. They could have recommended us to pay for testing we didn’t need. But they did neither. They were all about the customer.

-They arrived promptly, at the time they said they would.

-They had great attitudes and great spirits (something that seems to be increasingly hard to find). They were straight-shooters and gave solutions.

-Even after knowing that we didn’t have a major problem that required their intervention, they willingly stuck around and answered all our questions.

-They went above and beyond to show that it wasn’t about the dollar, but that it was about the person.

-I’m not the type of person to write reviews normally. And If there is a bad product or service I won’t write about it. But when there’s an exceptional product or service, I try give an equally exceptional review to try and convey the level of quality I experienced.

I highly recommend MasterTech. Deion is wonderful, he came to check out some mold I had in my bedroom closet found the problem and had a crew out the very next day. Everybody was very respectful and knew what they were doing and did a very good job. I would definitely call MasterTech again.

I’m always nervous when I have to call specialists because I never know when they’ll try to take advantage of my ignorance. I needn’t worry when they came to the house. They were courteous, took the time to educate me, offered suggestions, and were patient. You can tell that they really love what they do and they know how to treat people. Exceptional service!

After several rounds of antibiotics from cold viruses, I contacted MasterTech to check our house for mold. Deion was absolutely fantastic! He worked me into his schedule for the very next day as I advised him I needed it checked asap.

He and his partner came out and did a free inspection, which was very thorough. He didn’t rush right into testing as he wanted to do an inspection first to try to see where the issue was coming from. We needed a portion of the ceiling cut out to determine the issue of water damage. Deion linked me up with a very good contractor who came out a few days later and did a clean, quick job. Deion then came back out to take another look and advised me on what steps to take next. He said he wanted to save me as much money as possible and that’s exactly what he did.

Deion and his partner, Mr. Poindexter, are beyond professional, honest, reasonable, and helpful. They also educated me through the process. I not only plan to use them in the future if a mold issue should ever arise, but also highly recommend them to others! They are a team you can trust!

My boyfriend’s house started smelling like mildew and kept getting stronger as days past, he called MasterTech, Deion came out and assessed the crawl space and gave him a very reasonable price to fix the problems. Him and his crew came out and did a great job with the mold and mildew under the crawl space, the house now smells cleaner and fresher. He would recommend their services to anyone.

Salim did an excellent job. Despite being late, I appreciate him not rushing and making the carpet look better than it did before I moved in along with his courtesy.

These guys go the extra mile to simplify very complex issues into an understandable explanation. It seemed like others in the mold industry are just trying to rush out to the next inspection, these guys were the exact opposite, a breath of freah air!!!
